JACKIE SEAWRIGHT LOGO DESIGN
Challenge:
I was asked to design a real estate logo and digital banners for Jackie Seawright. Jackie is a realtor in Connecticut. She wanted her own personal logo to be able to market and brand herself as a realtor. We see many realtor logos with a house, door, or key icon. Jackie wanted to stand out and use a different icon. She wanted her icon to be a door knocker. I was given a specific color to use, but was not against seeing how similar colors would look like.
Solution:
When I was first tasked to design a door knocker icon for her logo, I was very skeptical. Luckily, Jackie sent me many inspiration photos that helped me. Many of the inspiration photos were more geometric shapes. I gave the door knocker idea a try, while also designing other icons that have to do with being a realtor and selling a house. After a few rounds of revisions, we ended up with a door knocker icon with her initials in the middle as a script font, a serif font for her name, and a sans serif font for her tagline. Once the logo was finalized I then designed digital banners, in four variations, for Jackie to use for her advertising or marketing needs.
